August 2009
Our High Point guest storyteller R. Eric Thomas tells us a story he calls “Coming Down.” It starts with a Facebook message and ends with a poignant Google Earth image of home…
While Kylin enchanted the judges, Andrew was busy striking a deal with the audience. Former FPA staff now turned storyteller, Andrew tells the story of his time in the illicit world of of black market candy.
Kylin cast her spell over the judges at this month’s StorySlam with a heartwarming and hilarious story of true love, magic and a mad dash to the Ben Franklin Bridge. Proving that love and magic are more or less the same thing, Kylin took home the coveted Golden Ticket and will return with a new bag of tricks in November.
